This paper will seek to present a suggested course of research in determining the state of family values in modern America. By using moral guides, as well as those more non-biased studies done through sociology on the American family, we can understand how the family unit can unify or re-unify. By discovering behavioral patterns in dysfunctional families, we can learn to repair families by creating ethical and moral codes within the household.
