This paper encompasses a discussion of their history and development of sprinklers and NFPA standards 13, 13D and 13R. Fire protection systems are examined and discussed. In addition inspections and other fire presentation and safety maintenance methods are presented in the paper. The reasons for current standards and the ideology behind the implementation of these standards are also explained.
