Book Report: Understanding the Early Concept of International Trade in The Man Who Saw the Future by Andrew Forrester
In this paper we have presented a book report on The Man Who Saw the Future by Andrew Forrester. By using a chronological approach to Patersons life, Forrester reflects on Patersons life as a banker, and ultimately as a successful tradesman. However, Paterson could not realize his ultimate dream of Darien, Panama, which would make him famous as the father of modern international trade. This book offers the rise and fall of William Paterson, an innovator in commerce that never realized his dream.
