This paper is in the form of a memo to the head of the Anine Internal Medicine Resident Program on the adoption of new technology for distance learning, using palmtops and wireless technology to give residents access to websites and databases with information they can use in their training, disucssing the nature of distance learning, how the technology enhances learning, and related issues.
