: This paper will provide a prospectus on the use of bio-fuels on internal combustion engines. Types of fuels and combustion that arte currently used will be discussed and popular and accepted methods will be discussed. Bio-fuels, fuels that are derived from harvesting vegetation, will be examined along with their current use their future will be considered. The use of these fuels in internal combustion engines will be investigated as well
