The Destruction of the Rain Forest Biome

The destruction of the rain forests was at the top of conservationists list twenty years ago, however, today, it has lost some of its momentum. There is actually some debate whether or not the destruction of the rain forest is occurring, and if so, at what rate and what the consequences are.
