Emily Dickinson and the Meaning of Female Inclusion.
This paper discusses how gender and sexuality are strong themes within Emily Dickinson's poetry. This female poet undoubtedly had strong views on the concept of femaleness, and how this concept had been socially constructed into something false by male elites. In the most profound sense, Dickinson utilized her notion of Christianity to try to achieve a form of redemption for the female gender. She understood that the Church had been exclusionary.
