This paper will discuss the Sundiata Mythos/ history and how this pertains to the Epic narrative to convey a people's history. The main focuses will be to examine what is characterized as an Epic and what that means. Another facet will be to understand what place the Griot or storyteller/historian of the tribe had and discuss the effects of what influence these men had on the tribe. 4 pgs.
