In "The Art of Reflexology," authors Inge Dougans and Suzanne Ellis advocate the healing effects of reflexology or therapeutic foot message based on principles of ancient Chinese medicine but fail to prove reflexology produces any substantial therapeutic results. This paper summarizes the historical information and description of reflexology techniques reported in the book.
