This report investigates the nature of the genetics that are responsible for the colour of our eyes. While the theories of Mendel had been used previously to predict eye colour, recent research shows that this is no longer a valid method as at least three genes control the genetics involved. The structure of the eye as well as the location and distribution of the particles responsible for the colour are also explained.
