Over the course of history, we have seen many political thinkers who have changed the very function of our form of self-governance, Karl Marx is one of them. Over the course of his political life, Marx laid out one of the most ambitious implementations of Thomas Mores Utopia our world will ever see. And, while his political objectives were never truly realized, they have served to influence the very structure of all socialized forms of government. It was his lofty idealism that proved the weakness of Communism, for it proved to be a system that could not be implemented as long as generations of people still in the grips of feudal capitalism (as indeed the entire world was) remained in any form of control. Marx had a very distinctive approach to politics and social structure which was born of a real deep appreciation of humanity. His, then, was a life dedicated to making the world a better place he simply went about it in the wrong way.
