Globalization and Domestic Economy in Major Barbara by George Bernard Shaw
This paper will seek to discuss the nature of globalization within Major Barbara by George Bernard Shaw. By understanding the main antagonist in the play, Andrew Undershaft, and his tendency toward greed without ethics, we can surely learn that modern times, vary little with these types of men. President George Bush is a clear example of this in the War in Iraq. By comparing modern economic manners in International law, we can see how Shaw reflects a truth about capitalism, and why men seek power illegally.
