This paper analyses one of the most famous sonnets of William Shakespeare - Sonnet 116. It discusses the principal themes, to which the poet applies in this literary work, especially the theme of love, provides viewpoints of other critics and writers as to this Sonnet and analyses its structure and its language. Finally, it summarizes all above mentioned aspects.
