The works of Raphael and Memling belong to different eras but similar genres, that is religious Realism. This paper discusses Madonna and Child Enthroned, with Saints by Raphael and Virgin, Child and Catherine of Alexandria and St. Barbara by Memling. The paper concludes by comparing and contrasting the two works.
